My pre- predecessor was sent this fabulous newspaper produced by New Writing North (similar to where I work but in the North, of course). It’s promoting four novels by writers based in the north: Welcome to Life Alice de Smith, The Rotting Spot by Valerie Laws, Ten Storey Love Song by Richard Milward and 9987 by Nik Jones. Incidentally, Milward studied Fine Art, like me.
Have you read any of these books? And what’s your reading footprint?
